Through the lands of ancient castles, these routes cross the largest municipality in Bages and one of the largest in Catalonia, which also has the largest number of Romanesque churches in a single municipality. A term with several very separate nuclei: Sant Mateu de Bages, Castelltallat, Salo and Valls de Torroella.

Route 16.1 – 33.6km – 771.6m

In the church of the town of Sant Mateu de Bages, the solidity of its pre-Romanesque bell tower is surprising, the only one that is preserved in Catalonia apart from that of Coll de Nargó.
