The channel of the Séquia is a medieval one (s.XIV) that permitted the growth of the city of Manresa and the agrarian development of a huge part of the Pla del Bages. Following the path that follows the line of the channel (26 km with minimum unevenness), constitutes a truly memorable experience: temples, fortifications, water constructions, farmhouses and natural spaces that were transformed by the water activity help us to understand the roots of this region, the heart of Catalonia.
